I am not liking the end of 2008, I want the new year to get here just for the hope of it being brighter and better.
So much crap has happened the last few weeks, I just want to crawl into bed and set the alarm for 2009.
Well the year is just about over and all I can keep doing is going day by day, I am just glad today is over though it is leaving a hole in my heart. Today we buried Richards Grandmother.
Tomorrow there will be a rainbow right?

Funerals are always sad, so I understand your grief and sadness. You have my condolences.
Living in Europe is also depressing. I am sure I personally suffer with SAD because of the short days and lack of sunshine when I am there.
Of course for me now this is no longer an issue. Hope you feel better soon and head for "sunnier days."
Yes, there will be a rainbow! I'm sorry for your loss. I can tell you with absolute certainty (as someone who has had an unimaginably horrible year on many, many levels) that eventually you will feel so much better than you do now. Just hang on for a few more months and you'll feel strong and optimistic again.
