Lack of imagination

As I sit here typing this blog I had about 4 ideas about what I wanted to blog about but as I look at the tv out the corner of my eye I see and hear all the advertising and it is just amazing me how the people running the tv stations have a lack of imagination.
I just heard an advertising saying "Do you have a friend who needs a house update, contact us and we will update their house" then there is the tv show that updates your car, my goodness , the crap they do to the poor peoples cars, the list does not stop
The Child whisperer, a guy who THINKS he can get into a child's head and read their thoughts, no the guy is on a trip and a bad one at that.
Idols, oh I had enough of that already!
beauty and the nerd, They team up a nerd with a beauty and quiz them over the most stupid things! Where do they find these totally brain dead people.
We have a bad version of "pimp my ride" they paint cars purple, stick mirrors on them with super glue and hey it is pimped!
Then there is "Cash Taxi" a guy in a taxi cab pulls up takes you to your destination but as you get it all these lights start flashing and music plays then the rules.. You get asked questions and for every correct answer you get a cash prize, but if you get 3 wrong answers before your destination, you don't get the cash but the taxi stops right there and then and you get out and have to pay him the taxi fare.
the list goes on and on, what I can not understand is , the very few good shows out there , like "hearts in action" the name says it all, they help people who have had a hard time why has no one written in for me!!!!
I think the tv stations need to get their acts together and come up with some good tv that will give me couch potato arse
