Ice Fog

Normally I write a poem and put some kind of rhythm to it, below I do not know if it is a poem or just feelings.
I had a dream last night that kept waking me and everytime I tried to sleep again the dream started over, in the end I woke up screaming with tears running down my face, so the below poem it what I wrote down within 5 minutes of me waking up, I just had to get the feelings out.

Ice fog

The sky turns dark,
I am hunting for you,
I scream, I search,
Where are you?

I wake,
Screaming in terror,
Tears forming rivers,
The pillow a lake for emotions.

Ice Fog forming on the waters,
A fuzzy dream world pierced only by bright lights,
Composed of feathery ice crystals,
The cotton candy-like clouds that hang over our lives.

Made by life itself,
Tiny droplets suspended in air,
To small for the naked eye,
Havoc on the sense of touch and taste.

Appearing in numbing temperatures,
Evaporated poisonous fumes escape,
On the tongue it is bitter,
Melting fast into my being.

Don't make me walk through this fog,
It's lonely, scarier then my worst nightmare,
The Density of the droplets,
Bring on the summer mist.

The days without a haze,
The northern lights bring peace,
The calm of the season changing,
Life then repeats.
