On the weekends I drive most of the time to Hugo's, it is a popular highway I take and on a weekend I will see speed cameras atleast 2 times on my back and forth trip.
The last 3 weeks when all this "heatwave" started with temps close to the 100 I have not seen one police car at all hiding in the trees with police radar, My thought on this is that they have given up the donuts and headed for the beach or waterholes to catch people doing something illegal, goodness knows what, I bet it is for the view of all the topless ladies, either way it is good for me as I love speed and realised my old 92 ford escort can go 160km no problem, I would have tried to go 170 but over here anymore then 50km faster then the speed limit you can lose your licence I don't want to risk it you never know maybe there is a gay officer hiding in the trees with a speed radar waiting for someone like me!
