Little Devil

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Dirt Devil. All opinions are 100% mine.

I don't know what it is, I am always cleaning it just seems to never end, it's a little like painting the Forth Bridge, by the time I've finished it's time to start again. I have myself a little Dirt Devil and boy is it powerful, I've been looking through their guide book looking for any other little labour saving devices they do as the Dirt Devil I have is great and so good at cleaning I dont have to go over each section over and over again to make sure I get everything as usually once is enough as this thing picks up everything. This guide is really great and is giving me loads of ideas and with Christmas approaching I don't think anyone would be dissapointed with anything from here as a gift, OK it's not a pair of earings or expensive perfume but these are things I am 100% confident that will be appreciated for a very long time. I love the Holiday deals they're currently doing, everything I see I can just see who they would be perfect for , both male and female friends, this is really helping me out with all my Christmas shopping that I should actually be able to enjoy Christmas this year.

You Gotta See This

See being the opperative word, I ware glasses and I hate it, I feel like I am living in a greenhouse, sometimes when I'm out if there's some really big picturesque scenery like when I am camping in Scotland thn I take my glasses off so I can see it and appreciate it better. Abbott Medical Optics Inc are running the iLASIK Video Contest called “You Gotta See This” which invites entrants to make a video showing the contrast of improved vision, for a chance to win cash and prizes.
The Grand Prize is $5,000 with first prizes by category of a HDTV package worth $2,500 and second prizes of The Flip UltraHD™ camcorder worth $199.99.
So not bad prizes and all I have to do is get my thinking cap on and make a video under one of these 3 headings "My contacts are getting in the way of my good time", "My favorite sport or activity would be so much cooler with better vision" & "You should see life after the iLASIK® Procedure".

Then I need to get friends to vote so I will be in with a chance of the Grand Prize and I'll give you 3 guesses what I'll be spending the dough on.

Losely Translated

As most of you know I have a website where I sell a lot of crafts that I make, which is both in Dutch and in English. But as most of the stuff is relatively small and quite unique I'm thinking that maybe my site should be in other languages, perhaps enabling it not only to be readable by non English and Dutch speakers but also it might start appearing on the search engines also of those countries I have translated the language into, so I'm considering a name translation service to make my site more appealing to people in other countries and see if I can get more customers that way.

Growing up

Growing up can be tough on a kid, especially when they get spots as they can get really sensitive about it, especially if the other kids start to tease them about it. It can really get you down. I was looking at some Acne Reviews to find out more about what creams there were on the market and see if there are some alternatives to the creams that contain benzoyl peroxide as I worry about putting something harsh on a childs skin, especially one that increases the number of free radicals. After all I want her to have young and healthy skin for as long as possible. I think I will also look at diet... she may love a big mac and fries and so do her friends too I bet but I doubt her skin will love it.

Food Heaven

those that know me know that I am a qualified Italian chef and that I love food, even the over the top cuisine from 5 star hotelas and restraunts with ingredients that are unique and hard to find, sometimes only available to a discerning audience. Simple ingredients cooked and prepared properly is always key to making a dish that is good and nutritious and looking at FoodConnect has given me lots and lots of insperation of things to cook. Cooking I find really relaxing and theraputic, the preperation and enjoying the end result too is amazing. I love cooking a traditional Dutch dish called Stamppot which is essentially just some vegetables boiled in stovk with a aslice of meat, usually smoked sausage on top. Fantastic!!! but this exeplafies good food and simple food is not always a something apart. I love dishes which everyone can make and enjoy. The simple recipes are the sort of thing that anyone can pickup an attempt and enjoy without jumping through hoops is always my favourite. I hate anything obscure and complicated and just done for effect. I like people to love what I cooked because it's properly cooked and prepared not because it has a fancy name.

Ring ring!

Time for me to start looking for a cheap mobile phone, my old Nokia is starting to play up and the battery isn't holding much of a charge. I have thought about getting one of those new HTC phones but it seams the best way to get one is on a contract but I prefer to choose my own provider and I like an impartial review of all of the phones, everytime I go into a showroom they try and bamboozle me with geekspeak and try and get me to part with my cash and leave holding a house brick as a phone with an expensive 500 year contract. I don't think so.

I am going to look for one that has the features I already use and ones I will need, I don't want to spend the next 12 months just learning how to use it.
