Up the Socceroos

Yes Socceroos is a real word, it is an Aussie word, it is the Australian International Soccer Team.
Saturday night the Socceroos played The Netherlands in Eindhoven, A match I did not want to miss out on and also could not pick who to win.
I am an Aussie and I am proud of it, but the orange in me is starting to take over, I think I am getting Dutchified, (ok that is a word I made up and think it is fitting)
My little monster is full blown Aussie, speaking to her you would think she was born and raised there, she knows so much about Australia it blows me away, so it comes as no surprise that Saturday night she pulled out all her Australian flags and set herself up nicely to watch the match.
Like Mother like daughter, we where both screaming at the TV telling the ref he was an idiot and/or blind, I had people sending me text messages saying the Dutch were going to kick our arse.
