I thought rules were made to be broken?

So the old saying rules were made to be broken just gets you in more trouble!
I speed most times on the highways, it is not illegal unless they catch you right? It is not that I speed 100km over the limit, I do not drive dangerously at all.
Paying bills on time, well I either can not afford it by their deadline or I just plain old forget, a rule I break often.
So the rules I have broken over the last year, well since April 28th 2007 was, I have been walking around without a valid passport. Since April 2007 the rules have changed no less then 4 times on my renewal application. I had filled out the forms and anyone who knows me knows I am very bad at getting my behind to the post office, so the forms never got sent but now it is crunch time, all my travel passes have expired and I am off the England in 20days.
So I had a little trip to Den Haag yesterday and worked it in with a meeting, Den Haag is a lovely city, just love it but all the 1 way streets drive me nuts, it turned me grey within a matter of minutes! As soon as I walked through the doors of the Australian Embassy and had to go through the security check it all reminded me of home, darn I got home sick, though the security were somewhat of wankers seeing they where all Dutch and everyone who walked in they spoke Dutch too, most of the people looking at them cross eyed and then saying " Do you speak English?" was somewhat funny but still they do work in an Australian Embassy, get a grip people!
Well that was my day, rainy, lost in a city, had a good perv on the way and got my passport application in on time!
So bottom line, England here I come!
