Making it through the day

Well after my 7:26am bitch session I got to work and had a little more bitching done at worked my boss and I bitch all the time to eachother, after that was out of my system I made it through the day JUST!
I do not know if it is the heat (I am not use to it anymore I think) or if it is the lack of sleep over the last few months!
I was at work ironing (out of all things and in this heat) after it I sat to have a drink, I fell asleep, can you believe it!
I actually slapped myself on the cheek to try to stay away, chewing gum didn't help. Coffee didn't help ,drinking loads of water did not help!
When I got home I went to bed, I always dread having an afternoon nap, my doctor says with my health problems and stress level if I feel tired I should sleep, easy for him to say try shopping and then laying in the isle to nap, sure , right doc!
Me on the other hand I sit there and think, no I cant sleep only lazy people do that and I have it drilled into my head that everyone sees me as a fat lazy slob so if people knew I was having a nap they would think "yes fat lazy slob needs a midday nap"
My boyfriend he is always saying "my love if you need to nap do it, your body is in protest it need the rest" I fight it til my last breath as I collapse into slumber on my pillow but still saying "No I don't need to ..zzzzzzz"
Ok way off track now, I am hot, yet not feeling crash hot and sweating my butt off I am about to head for the shower and go to bed, Ahh don't you love the feeling of a cool shower after a sweaty day?
You feel the sweat actually wash off your body as your body can breath again not choked by the sweat, the cool water running down you, over your head, massaging your shoulders then flowing down your back and breasts, revitalized, refreshed, reawakened
Mmmm Now I really want a shower!
chow for now

I used to take a nap too, in the afternoons.. but I got into a habit and I used to do it every day. Then I couldnt sleep at night, so I stopped.. but I still do it now and again.. especially in this weather.

I’ve added your link to my blog…

The Vegemite jar caught my eye, I had to read your archives.
The Bugger Off post caught my sympathy, I had to comment.
The showering description caught my imagination, I’m compelled to return.

You’ve got a great site, congratulations.
