NO PAIN NO GAIN, ouch!

We all know the saying 'no pain no gain' but this is getting beyond a joke! It all started months ago maybe even a year ago, I wanted to make a handbag out of bottle caps. Once I told family and friends I needed them to save bottlecaps it turned into a big disaster. What started off as a few in a container on my desk has turned into 1 large container under my desk!

I started with the handbag. Many, many hours went into hammering a nail through bottlecaps so I can thread wire to shape the bag. Then I ran out of patience, I am not a person to wait hours and hours to see nothing come of it poking wire through small holes poking my fingers, scratching my hands. Liters of blood and tears later the bag is still not finished.

Then I came across a book of 'bottlecap art' wow my chance to get the bottlecaps out of my house, no such luck! My fingers are painful and doubling in size you see the bottlecap art I found involved using a hammer a big hammer on a small bottlecap and my judgment is not so good and I thought of holding the small bottlecaps with my fingers while using a big hammer, see how desperate I am to get thee bottle caps out of the house!

Enjoy the pictures of the half finished items. Above is a bag and under that are bottlecaps with pictures in them which will soon be necklaces (I hope).
